Hello Writers,

Almost didn’t get the chance to post this one since food stamps came today, and it keeps threatening to snow here. Needless to say, it’s been hectic today.

I also want to quickly mention how much I love the title image. My only complaint would be that the stuff inside the box looks weird, but everything else is very clean.

Writing Rants

Time Travel Progression — This concept is pretty simple, and I’ll use an example anyways. So, in Star Trek: First Contact, when the Borg travel back through time to assimilate humanity at a more vulnerable time, and when the Enterprise followed them through, for every random interval of time that their efforts are not thwarted, there should have been a random amount of progression made in the altered timeline. In theory, this would cause the Borg to be more advanced having had an earlier start in a more populated sector of the galaxy, and also including the futuristic advancements they brought with them. It could also be that there is a large initial jump in progression, but that might be hard to write around.

Advanced Science

Macro-generation — Imagine an atom that’s the size of a golf ball. Macro-generation is the idea of growing things on an epic-sized scale to allow for a better understanding of it. Unlike the image above, this process would need to be in a sterilized atmosphere, and most likely would be done off world on a specialized Dyson Sphere-like space station.

It’s also possible that it would utilize the following technology.

Void-Space — It’s quite often that scientists use a vacuum space in which they conduct their experiments. It helps to avoid outside interference. There is something to be said about how most things don’t exist in a vacuum, nor can they thrive. A true void-space would allow for an independent and localized environment in which you could control all the variables and better simulate real life.

This could also be utilized as a weapon to where the space around an object, for instance, a starship that relies on certain environmental conditions in which to correctly function. Using this could disorient them enough to create an advantage.
