Hello Readers,
I wish you could understand just how exhausted I feel. No one—not even any of the doctors or nurses—prepared me for helping someone recover from open heart surgery. All of our friends and family have left Seattle, so we’re doing this on our own.
In case you’re wondering why everyone is leaving Seattle, go watch this video, but be warned. It is not for the faint of heart. Just know that, this is what we have to deal with everyday as we live right next to a methadone clinic.
Nothing like going to the bus stop to see several people doing the fenny nod, looking like they’re trying to kiss their own feet. Oh, and did you think that I still wear my mask for COVID? No, it’s to protect me from the fentanyl fumes on the bus!
So, now on to the fun stuff! Sorry, no Wrdos this week.
